25 years in Seoul · Fixed rates · One DJ, not an agency
I’ve been DJing professionally in Seoul since the late 1990s — clubs, corporate events, brand activations, weddings, private parties. Twenty-five years of gigs across Korea and Asia means I know how to read a room, how to handle the nights that don’t go as planned, and how to adapt a set when the crowd isn’t what the brief described.
This isn’t a DJ agency. It’s one person with a long track record.
Weddings
A wedding isn’t one event — it’s five or six in a row. The quiet confidence of the ceremony. Dinner music your grandparents and your university friends can both live with. The first dance. And then, if you want it, an actual party.
I’ve played weddings in Seoul and across Korea for twenty-five years — for Korean couples, international couples, and every combination in between. I’ll sit with you before the day, build the arc around the moments that matter to you, and then handle the room so you don’t think about music once. Bilingual MC coordination available. Try the Wedding Song Finder to start your must-play list.
Corporate & Brand Events
A brand activation at a Gangnam hotel doesn’t sound like a staff party, which doesn’t sound like an international conference reception. I’ve played all three — for brands, agencies, and companies across Korea and Asia. I work from a pre-event briefing, match the music direction to your brand, and coordinate directly with venue sound engineers. English and Korean working proficiency for international events.
Clubs & Underground
If you run a venue or a night, you already know what you’re booking against: DJs who play the same set in every room. I don’t. House, techno, disco, soul, R&B, hip hop — Korean and international, underground and accessible — built live, for the crowd actually in front of me. Residencies, one-offs, openers done properly, all-night-long sets, back-to-backs. I write about this scene because I’m part of it — read the Seoul Scene archive to see how I think about rooms, sound, and crowds.
Festivals & Event Programming
Festival sets are their own craft — bigger rooms, shorter attention windows, and a crowd that didn’t necessarily come for you. Beyond playing, I consult on event programming: lineup curation, stage flow, set-time architecture, and the operational details — sound, changeovers, contracts — that decide whether a festival day works. For organizers, promoters, and brands entering music sponsorship in Korea.
What I need from you
A date, a venue, and a rough sense of crowd size and tone. I quote based on event length, travel, and setup requirements. Rates are fixed — I don’t do exposure bookings or unpaid “opportunities.”
