Who runs it
Hi, I’m Matthew. Over the last twenty years in Korea I’ve held numerous residencies and played for venues, hotels and events of every size, mostly house and disco as Clement.
But good music is good music, and we don’t limit ourselves to one sound. We’re here to work with you and your clients, and we’ll find the DJ who works best for your night.

01 · Clubs and parties
Club nights and private parties
House, disco and the records in between, played for the slot and the room. From a warm-up that builds to a rooftop birthday that ends with everyone dancing.
What you get
- Warm-up, peak or closing sets, played for the slot, not the ego.
- Long sets when the room wants them, and help shaping the whole night.
- A set built for your guests at private parties, from dinner music to a full floor.
- Sound sized to the space, including outdoor setups with a rain plan.
- Festival sets for stages, tents and after-hours areas.
What we’ll ask you
- The slot, the other DJs and the changeover plan.
- The booth: CDJ and mixer models, monitor speaker.
- Guest count, ages and the music they love.
- Indoor or outdoor, curfew, and where the power is.

02 · Corporate
Company events and brand launches
A company night has a job to do: let people meet, land the speeches on time, and send everyone home with a good night attached to your name.
What you get
- Music matched to the purpose, at a volume that lets people talk, then a floor when it’s time.
- Cues for speeches, awards and giveaways, rehearsed with your host or AV team.
- Brand-safe music, checked against your guidelines, and day-long sets for pop-ups.
- A bilingual MC if you need one.
- An invoice for your finance team.
What we’ll ask you
- The event’s purpose and who’s in the room.
- The run of show and where the music has to stop.
- Brand guidelines or music to avoid.
- Your AV contact on the day and the venue’s gear.
- How you pay: transfer or invoice.

03 · Weddings
Weddings
A wedding in Seoul is often two families, two languages and three generations in one room. The music has to work for all of them, then turn into a party.
What you get
- A planning call about the two of you, your families and your crowd.
- Music built around your timeline, from the ceremony to the last song.
- Korean and international songs in the balance that fits your guests.
- Your do-not-play list treated as seriously as your requests.
- Ceremony sound, speech microphones and backup equipment on site.
What we’ll ask you
- Ceremony, reception or both, and the run of show.
- The first dance song, entrances and any cues.
- Songs to avoid. One ex’s favourite song can ruin a wedding.
- Who handles announcements: our MC, yours or a family member.
- Venue rules: curfew, volume limits, load-in time.

Questions
Why aren’t prices listed?
Because a four-hour wedding with ceremony sound and an MC costs something very different from a two-hour set on a venue’s gear. Send the basics and we’ll reply with our rate card and a written quote, usually within two business days.
Can you match a DJ to a particular sound?
Yes. Tell us the sound you want, or the crowd you’re expecting, and we’ll match the DJ to it. If your clients have a brief, we work to that.
Do you bring your own equipment?
If the venue’s system is good, we use it and work with their team. If not, we bring sound, DJ equipment, microphones and lighting sized to the room.
Do you travel outside Seoul?
Yes, anywhere in Korea and abroad. Travel is agreed in the quote.
What about a deposit and cancellations?
A deposit holds the date. Your quote sets out when the rest is due, how you can pay, and the cancellation and rescheduling terms, all in writing before you commit.
What do you need from us on the night?
A table for the booth near a power outlet, a contact who knows the run of show, water, and a meal and a short break on long sets.
Quick answers
What kinds of events do you DJ in Seoul?
Corporate events and conferences, brand activations and pop-ups, weddings, club nights and residencies, festivals and programming, and private parties. Each has a dedicated section above with what we bring to it.
How much does it cost to book a DJ in Seoul?
Every night is different, so there's no public price list. Send the date, venue, event type and rough guest count through the enquiry form, and you'll get a rate card and a written quote back, usually within two days.
Who will actually be playing?
Matthew Clement, with more than twenty years behind the decks at residencies, venues, hotels and events across Korea, mostly house and disco. Good music is good music, so if your night calls for a different sound, we'll find the DJ who works best for it.
Do you work outside Seoul?
Yes. Seoul is home base, and we take bookings across Korea and Asia. Travel is agreed up front and included in the quote.
Can I enquire in Korean?
Yes. The page has an English and Korean toggle and enquiries are welcome in either language. The form sends a prefilled email; you can also write directly to clement.mj@gmail.com.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can. Weekend dates in peak season go first. Send the date and we confirm availability quickly, then hold it once the quote is accepted.
