Seoul nightlife this week: questions people ask

What’s on in Seoul tonight?

This page lists every club night, party and rave in Seoul for the next two weeks, gathered every Monday and Thursday from Resident Advisor and from organisers who list their own nights. Choose Tonight for 오늘 밤 (oneul bam), Weekend for Friday to Sunday, or Everything for the full fortnight.

Where are the clubs in Seoul?

Itaewon and Haebangchon (이태원, 해방촌) have the international crowd and the longest hours. Hongdae (홍대) and Hapjeong are students, live rooms and small clubs. Seongsu (성수) and Euljiro (을지로) lean towards warehouses, rooftops and listening bars. Gangnam (강남) is big rooms and table service. Mullae (문래) and the Han River (한강) host the occasional warehouse or riverside party.

What time do Seoul clubs open and close?

Most nights start between 22:00 and midnight, and many run until the first subway at around 05:30. Every listing shows the start and end time and whether it runs past the last train, with links to Naver Map and Kakao Map for the trip home.

How old do you have to be to go clubbing in Korea?

Entry goes by birth year, not birthday, and most nights are 19 and over. Each listing shows the age the promoter posted. Bring your passport or ARC, because a photo on your phone usually won’t get you in.

How do I get my party listed?

Venues and crews can list a night on Resident Advisor with a Seoul venue, and it appears here at the next update. Instagram only? Use the List your night form on this page. No email needed.
