Yeonnam is a few blocks from the Hongdae strip and a different world: specialty coffee by day, the same small spaces as wine bars and cocktail rooms by night, for a crowd in its late twenties and thirties. It is where DJs go after the set, to walk out of three hours in the booth into somewhere they can talk.

Hongik Univ. is Line 2, AREX and the Gyeongui line, so getting home before the last train is easy. Wind down by one or two, or walk to Hapjeong if the night changes its mind.
