What Full-On sounds like
A punchy kick with a rolling, triplet bassline filling every gap. Bright, uplifting melodies, acid squiggles and huge risers. Built for daylight peaks, each track climbs to a euphoric lead and a crowd of thousands throws their hands up at once.
What you would see
Open air desert and forest parties in Israel, then huge festival main stages. Dust in the air, colourful tapestries and UV decor, barefoot dancers in bright pants and sunglasses.

Full-On took shape around 2000 in Israel. Tracks usually run at 140 to 148 BPM. You will also see it called full-on psytrance, morning psy.

From the booth
Full-on is built for daylight peaks. At 140 to 148 BPM, a punchy kick and a rolling triplet bassline fill every gap, with bright uplifting melodies, acid squiggles and huge risers on top. It grew out of Goa Trance.
Each track climbs to a euphoric lead, and a big crowd throws its hands up at once. I would use full-on for the main stretch of a psychedelic set, after progressive psy has warmed the room. Listen for the bassline; it is dense and constant, so two of them overlapping can smear quickly. If you are new, cut the low end on the incoming track and swap basses on a clean phrase. Your blends will sound far tighter.
